Two of my most recent quilts are currently 'on their way' to Houston for International Quilt Festival. River Walk is a combination of foundation piecing, raw edge applique, thread painting, and machine embroidery.........all done on my new Bernina.

The second, Passiflora is foundation pieced with cording and beads for accents.

My Olympic block

Participating in a group project, and have chosen Kenya as my country to represent. Since my son worked and lived there, it seemed an appropriate choice for me.

A very long and cold winter in Atlanta has at least been productive!  Getting ready for the Original Sewing & Quilt Expo next week, Paducah next month, and several more shows for 2010.  I'll be introducing two new patterns which are shown here.
